Behind The Presenter:

1) What led you to a career in radio?

I’ve always loved music and radio and since helping out at my local hospital radio I’ve always been involved on both sides of the mic.

2) What is your routine before starting your show?

A good strong cup of coffee always does the trick!

3) What is the most challenging part of the job?

There isn’t really. It’s a job I love playing the music I love.

4) Who is your favourite music artist and why do you like them?

Has to be Simply Red. I’ve seen them live a couple of times and Mick Hucknall’s voice is just phenomenal!

5) Do you have a favourite hobby outside of radio?

I narrate audible books plus my grandchildren always keep me busy!

6) What music do you listen to when you’re not working?

I like all sorts of music really. If it has a catchy hook i’ll listen to it!

7) What advice would you give people who want to work in radio?

Get involved with your local hospital radio station if possible and try and get some work experience at your local radio station.

8) Be honest, best decade for music?

Always the 80’s – So many great songs!

9) What’s your favourite beech on the Costa Blanca?

La Cala just love it down there.
